I respec’d resto for tonight’s Kara raid. I haven’t been raiding much at all because I still have two weeks left of school and my schedule doesn’t permit it. However, I got out of class early tonight and logged on to my GM asking if I’d respec resto to fill a spot tonight (he’d pay for it). I said what the hell and ported my ass to Moonglade. It was an enjoyable night, me learning Kara and our raid finally ending on the Prince Malchezaar. I passed all the leather dps (including Gloves of Dexterous Manipulation and Edgewalker Longboots) loot to the rogues because I couldn’t justify taking it while I was healing, especially when they needed it. However, I did end up getting Mithril Chain of Heroism, which is second on Emmerald’s Sustained Cat DPS List.
I think I might stay resto, at least for awhile. We have been running low on druids for raids lately and once school gets out I should be able to make of the nights on the schedule. Maybe I’ll turn this into the resto version of Amanna’s blog.
I’m huge into customization. I don’t need buttons in the middle of the screen, because I would rather bind a key than have to click something. I’ll post a screenie of my UI sometime soon, but probably my largest customization comes in the form of macros. I don’t use near as many now because Blizzard actually integrated quite a few things into the BC Expansion that I had previously used macros for. Spells based on levels (i.e. MotW, Thorns, healing spells, etc) are now automatically figured by the Blizzard client. For my druid, I now only use 5 macros, which is sort of disappointing for me, as I feel I could do more actions with less buttons, but its always a work in progress.
Below are the macros I use. Hopefully these will prove to be of some assistance, as there aren’t too many great macro sites out there. It’ll also help me if I ever need to reinstall 
- Nature’s Swiftness:
A pretty common macro, but extremely useful.
/cast Nature’s Swiftness
/cast Healing Touch - Maim/Pounce
Casts Pounce when stealthed, maim when not. Basically combines two functions into one button.
/cast [stealth] Pounce; [nostealth] Maim - Shapeshifting/Run
Shifts out of any form into caster. If in caster, switches to flight, cheetah, and seal form, depending on whether you are out of combat, in combat, or in water, respectively. This will be revamped when a later patch comes out and provides the [flyable] option. As of now I switch between the first and second macro depending on if I’m in the Outlands or not.
/cast [Stance:1] Dire Bear Form; [Stance:3] Cat Form; [Stance:2] Aquatic Form; [Stance:4] Travel Form; [Stance: 5] Flight Form; [swimming] Aquatic Form; [nocombat] Flight Form; [nostance, outdoors] Travel Form

Also, I’m currently looking for a macro for my rogue to perform Riposte if it is up, or Sinister Strike if not. It used to be quite simple, /cast riposte /cast sinister strike. However, that won’t work now. Any input would be appreciated!
